Subject: Pau Gasol
Optimist:
- Pau Gasol is the greatest scoring big man in Chicago Bulls history.
- He just led Spain to a EuroBasket championship and looks ready to explode in Chicago’s new offense.
- He also won’t be playing as many minutes this year so he will be healthy for the playoffs.
- He may be old, but look at Tim Duncan. They both just keep defying old age.
Pessimist:
- Pau Gasol played for Spain all summer after being “injured” in the playoffs. Now he is going to be worn out for the season.
- Also, who cares how much he scored last season? His defense was awful.
- He is also the reason Noah looked so bad.
- The Bulls were better defensively without him.
- Gasol also had sinus surgery in the offseason. What’s up with that?
