Subject: Jimmy Butler
Optimist:
- Jimmy Butler gets better and better every season.
- No one in the NBA puts more work into their game than Jimmy does.
- He was also invited to play with team USA over the summer and has a legitimate shot at earning a roster spot for the Olympic team.
- Butler is also one of the few players in the NBA who can slow down LeBron James.
- He worked on his point-guard skills all summer long and looks ready to share some of the burden bringing the ball up.
- The sky is the limit for Jimmy Butler.
Pessimist:
- Jimmy is a great defender, but he will never be an elite scorer.
- Even if last season wasn’t a fluke, he will never be better than LeBron James and you have to beat LeBron if you ever want to win.
- He also needs to tell the media that this is still Derrick Rose’s team. Rose is the real superstar.
- More teams will be prepared for Jimmy Butler this season, as last season came out of nowhere, so he will have a hard time scoring as much.
