Subject: Derrick Rose
Optimist:
- Derrick Rose played most of the season last year.
- He also was able to work on his game this past summer instead of having to rehab his knees.
- Rose worked out all summer with Russell Westbrook and Westbrook said it looked just like the old D-Rose.
- As long as he can stay healthy, there is no reason not to expect MVP Derrick Rose.
Pessimist:
- Derrick Rose shut down in the final game of the playoffs against Cleveland.
- Sure he played the majority of the season last year, but he also tore his meniscus and had mid-season surgery on it.
- He also just broke his face, so he is clearly accident prone and will never stay healthy.
- He is now going to miss preseason and not develop any chemistry with Jimmy Butler.
- He is also ruining his image with rape allegations and foolish comments about getting paid in 2017.
