- Fred Hoiberg will bring the same sort of offensive genius to the Bulls that Steve Kerr brings to the Warriors.
- He will get along better with management.
- The players will be less stressed as Thibodeau over worked them.
- Hoiberg will also play young players more and give them an actual shot at development.
Pessimist:
- Hoiberg is a college coach and let’s be honest his Iowa State teams repeatedly underachieved in the NCAA tournament.
- He will forget the defensive principals which made this team what it is today.
- Marc Trestman was thought to be an offensive genius and replaced the defensive minded Lovie Smith. Hoiberg is an offensive minded coach replacing the defensive minded Tom Thibodeu. Look how that turned out for the Bears.
