Scottie Pippen

Remember when I said three spots on this list were virtual locks? Here’s the second of the three locks.

Simply put: Without Scottie Pippen, there would be no Michael Jordan. As great as MJ was in his playing days, Pippen helped push Jordan into becoming the greatest player of any generation.

A tenacious full-court defender and underrated offensive player, Pippen built his Hall of Fame resume during his 12 seasons as a member of the Bulls organization. Pippen won six titles with the Bulls, while making seven All-Star Games, winning the All-Star Game MVP in 1994, along with making the All-NBA Defensive Team eight times.

Along with Love and Sloan, Pippen’s No. 33 is retired in the United Center rafters. In the terms of players who saw it all and did it all, Scottie Pippen is on that list.
