1993 East Finals Game 6: After Scottie stops Smith, the Bulls stop the Knicks

Game 5 of the 1993 Eastern Conference Finals will forever be known as the game Scottie Pippen stopped Charles Smith‘s four attempts at the rim to give the Knicks the lead.

Pippen’s defense led to the Bulls steal a 3-2 series lead, which carried over into Game 6, where the Bulls would finish off the Knicks in the postseason once again.

Game 6 wasn’t the best shooting night for Pippen or Michael Jordan (17-for-42 from the floor), but the Bulls got 19 big points off the bench from John Paxson, Stacey King and Scott Williams in the 96-88 victory.
