2009 East First Round: Bulls win a 3OT thriller against Boston

The Chicago Bulls and Boston Celtics played seven games in the 2009 NBA Playoffs. Four of the seven games went to overtime. Two games went to at least double OT.

In one of the greatest games, of one of the greatest series in NBA history, the Bulls came out on the winning of a 128-127 thriller in triple overtime of Game 6.

Behind 63 points from their starting backcourt of Derrick Rose and John Salmons — with each playing just under a full hour of game time — the Bulls tied the series at three games apiece.

Game 6 was also the game that changed the trajectory of Joakim Noah‘s career, with just one play.

What a game and what a series.
