Ever since the Bulls hired Tom Thibodeau in 2010-11, the Bulls have found great success. Their defense has been the area where he has impacted most, but something else he has brought is an ability to bring the most out of his reserve point guards. Many guards have come to Bulls as their careers were hanging in the balance and have flourished in the freedom Thibodeau has given them.
Injuries to Derrick Rose also gave certain players a chance to have extended minutes running the offense. Many of the reserve guards the Bulls have brought in the past couple of years have had a very positive impact, so I thought it would be interesting to rank them and see where they stack up next to each other. The reserve point guards that have played under Coach Thibodeau are, C.J Watson, John Lucas III, Marquis Teague, Nate Robinson, Kirk Hinrich, D.J Augustin, and Aaron Brooks.
