#5 – Aaron Brooks

Brooks has been a fantastic addition to the Bulls bench. The 30-year-old is leading the Bulls bench in scoring with 11.1 points, and is also averaging 3 assists 1.8 rebounds per game in just 20.3 minutes (about nine less than Gibson).

The reason Brooks has been so helpful for Chicago is because he can do it all offensively. For starters, Brooks is shooting a fantastic 43.8% from beyond the arc. It’s not because he shoots them only when he is wide open too; he is shooting 3.3 per game.

Brooks’ three-point shooting ability forces defenders to guard him very closely. Range doesn’t seem to matter for him… if defenders aren’t in his face, he’ll take the shot. The other reason why Brooks is such a threat offensively is because of how quick he is. Since defenders need to guard him closely, he uses his quickness to blow by the defender, usually resulting in an easy layup.

Brooks has helped lead the Chicago bench and has gotten the Bulls back into games many times. The Bulls have a very strong bench this season, and Brooks has been a big part of it.
