However, with this being said, Thursday’s performance is a definite step in the right direction. It proves that the “doomsday prophecies” instigated by the national media this week were largely overblown. The Bulls proved to themselves that they can still play well together. If there were schisms in the locker room between the players on the roster, they were set aside on Thursday night for the purpose of winning. As I have maintained the entire season, the core group of this team has overcome too much adversity collectively to continue to roll over against opponents like they have been doing the past week and a half. Over the course of an 82 game season, every team is going to be faced with challenges. If the Bulls can stand back up one more time than they get pushed down they will be successful. Given the passion that this team has played with over the last five years, there is no doubt that they will make this happen.
