This is a part of Michael that a lot of people actually want to forget. We all wish that Michael stuck to basketball instead of taking that little break to test out his baseball skills. We probably could be talking about 8 straight championships in the 90s instead of a pair of three-peats.

Instead Michael decided to give baseball a shot with the White Sox minor league team. He finished his career with 3 home runs and 51 RBI.

He was smart enough to call it quits though and head back to the game that he has dominated. He was able to get back to that dominant level again when he returned.
