08.) Oklahoma City Thunder (6th West)

I don’t see how you lose an MVP for at least the next two months and get better. For those that follow football, this is the exact same injury that Julio Jones had last season. If that is the case, you can expect Durant two months to at least be moved to three months. This is going to be a disaster season for Oklahoma City and in other news they could potentially lose Westbrook at the end of the season. I’m leaving them n the playoffs because Russell Westbrook and Serge Ibaka are good enough players to keep OKC afloat in Durant’s absence. I’m still not a Scott Brooks fan.

Question: Can Russell Westbrook step up and lead the Thunder in Kevin Durant’s absence?
If Russell Westbrook can lead this team to the two seed or better, expect him to start getting into the MVP conservation, even with Durant back in the lineup. We all know that Westbrook is going to take the most shots and is going to play the hardest. If Westbrook has a setback and goes down, then this Oklahoma City team is going to struggle.
