Aaron Brooks can’t play defense.

I want you to take a look at the positioning of Aaron Brooks in this picture. Then I want you to take a look at the positioning of the Brooks in the prior picture. Does that make Tom Thibodeau happy? No? You shouldn’t be either. It represents a huge problem.

Isn’t this ironic? The Bulls actually bring a guard who’s defense is worse than Kirk Hinrich. Conspiracy? Nah, he’s just cheap.

Did anyone see the Cleveland game? Get used to the visual because that is what is going to happen to Brooks on a nightly basis. Sure Derrick Rose was giving Irving the business in the game. Irving’s mom could have been called for the beatdown her son was taking. But when Rose sat down “Uncle Drew” showed up and told Aaron Brooks to go out on Ohio State’s campus and sell Christmas books. Brooks became target practice and Irving lit him up in the third quarter and the game was over at that point.

Aaron Brooks size limits the options for the Chicago Bulls on the defensive end. By default Brooks has to defend the point guard. He can’t guard the two guard without everyone screaming POST!

Oh by the way, there is no room in the rotation for Brooks if he continues to jack up shots at 33 percent conversion rate. The jury is still out on if Brooks can get time on the floor if things stay the way they’ve been going. But if things don’t get better…
