6th Man of the Year (6th) – Taj Gibson, Chicago Bulls
I have to buy some Bulls stock this season, I mean after all I am a Bulls fan. It seems like a safe assumption to buy Gibson as 6th man of the year, especially if Thibs can manage the Bulls big men minutes like I want, there is a chance that all three could play the same amount of time. Gibson is a double-double threat every time he touches the floor due to his work ethic on the floor. It’s hard to find someone who manages to play harder than Gibson does, and he rightfully should. He could be a starter on nearly 75% of other NBA teams, but he is sacrificing minutes to in order to compete for a title. You better believe that Gibson deserves this award.
