9. Charlotte Bobcats — Marcus Morris/PF, Kansas

There are two kinds of holes; there is Swiss cheese and there is the Charlotte Bobcats lineup. There are holes all over the place in Charlotte’s lineup and the problem is, most of the holes are already filled by young guys with potential. D.J Augustine is great when he wants to be and we all hear about Tyrus Thomas and his potential he has failed to live up to five years running, a reason Chicago parted with him. Of the teams in the 8-11 situation most likely to pull the trigger on a deal, the Bobcats top the list. They clearly haven’t been able to get it done with a young-ish roster and some proven veteran help may be the solution. Charlotte has three possible scenarios at this spot, one would involve them packaging the 9th and 19th picks to move up and try and snag Kawhi Leonard. This might happen as Washington is one of the teams that may be willing to move down. Another scenario involves Charlotte trading with Houston for 14 and 23 and a third scenario would involve the Spurs moving into the ninth spot for George Hill. A trade with San Antonio or Houston makes even more sense if Kemba Walker is available at nine which he realistically could be. If Charlotte does draft at nine, they will most likely look at Marcus Morris of the Morris twins.
