11. Golden State Warriors — Alec Burks/SG-Colorado
The Warriors may go defense here by taking Chris Singleton or even Tristan Thompson, but adding the height of Burks to the bench can only help. Stephan Curry and Monta Ellis are not big guys and Burks brings both an ablilty to score inside and on the perimeter only helps his stock with the Warriors. A sleeper idea here is that the New York Knicks swoop in and take Jimmer Fredette here. Now what should happen in my eyes, is Sacramento takes Valaciunas at seven (because they have zilch at center) and the Knicks and all of the popcorn media get their dream come true scenario where hometown boy from the Bronx Kemba Walker gets drafted by the Knicks. That won’t happen but it would make all teams involved a lot better including Golden State who could grab Jordan Brooks (potentially) at 17.
