Let’s Help Matt Barnes Find His Aunt’s Killer!

Look Pippen Peoples, this is not about the Chicago Bulls. This is not about Kevin Love and all of the trade possibilities to get him to Chicago. This is not about basketball. This is about Matt Barnes and his family. This about helping get a maniac off the streets and achieving justice. Let’s help Matt Barnes find the yahoo that killed his aunt.

Matt Barnes has taken to social media to try to find the man who killed his aunt earlier this month. Matt Barnes’ aunt Tanganyika Williams was stabbed in the neck and left for dead on a  Sacramento sidewalk. Michael Lee Williams, her estranged husband allegedly is the culprit. He is  believed  to be still at large in the Sacramento area.

The Sacramento Bee reports that Michael Lee Williams has a previous conviction in Oklahoma back in 1992 for shooting with the intent to kill. He is considered to be VERY dangerous.

Matt Barnes gave details on what happened to his aunt in a tweet on Tuesday.

"This dude stabbed my auntie in the neck last week & left her for dead on the sidewalk, she ended up dying on the to the hospital in the ambulance. If you hv any info on his where abouts contact the #SacPd #SacramentoWeNeedYourHelp #RIPTang"

The staff at Pippen Aint Easy is helping Matt Barnes in his quest asking  for anyone with information on this horrible crime and Williams whereabouts to call Sacramento police immediately. Barnes is also using his Instagram account to post a picture on Williams to help in the aid of his capture.

On the Instagram posting, Matt Barnes has included some useful information which includes a family phone number.

Look Pippen Peoples, we have to get  the word out that domestic violence is unacceptable in any form. I’m not saying its wrong. No it’s worse than that. It is unacceptable. There are so many cases that go unreported. There are so many men AND women that are subject to this behavior. The NFL just disciplined Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice for his behavior earlier this year with his then fiancée, now wife for alleged domestic violence. He just got suspended two games for what happened in a Las Vegas hotel. This just in to Pippen Ain’t Easy, the man got off very light. These two instances right here are prime examples that we have to take a stand against domestic violence. We have to send a strong message that this behavior will not be tolerated.

If you have a quiet moment. Please give out your prayers to Matt Barnes and his family during this awful time. If anyone has information please call the authorities. Do not try to apprehend him.

Also, if you are a victim of domestic violence or know someone who is being subjected to this type of behavior. Please seek help. There are programs out there that can help. If we all work together and provide more awareness, these tragedies can be eliminated.
