Bulls vs. Hawks Positional Breakdown: Centers

To kick off our breakdowns of the Bulls and Hawks and how they match up positionally, we begin with the big men in the middle: the centers. WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS! Iowa Energy Win the NBDL Finals!

The Iowa Energy beat the Rio Grande Valley Vipers 119-111 and won the NBDL Finals! The Energy were led by Stefhon Hannah who had 31 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists. Michael Haynes also came up big for the Energy, scoring 21 points and grabbing 8 rebounds. Don’t forget about Stanley Robinson who recorded a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds. The game was close throughout, with both teams showing why they had made it this far. In the end though, the Energy cruised to the 8 point victory. Bulls Prepare for Hawks

CHICAGO — The wait is over. Well at least the wait for the Bulls to see who exactly will be their second round opponent. NBDL Finals: Game Two Recap: Iowa Energy vs. Rio Grande Valley Vipers

The Iowa Energy lost 141-122 in game two of the NBDL Finals. The Vipers were too much for Iowa to handle Wednesday night. Former Marquette star Jerel McNeal led the Vipers with 37 points and also grabbed 9 rebounds while dishing out 8 assists as well. McNeal was on a tear the whole game and the Energy were unable to slow him down. He shot 10-22 from the field and 4-11 from beyond the three point line. Bulls Pull It Off, Win Series 4-1

CHICAGO — It took one more game than should have, but it happened nonetheless. The Chicago Bulls are the second team in the Eastern Conference to advance to the second round with a 116 – 89 victory over the Indiana Pacers in Game 5. The game went the way everyone thought the first four games would go with Chicago dominating the whole game. Rose Has MRI, Boozer and Bulls Prep For Closure

CHICAGO — The Bulls got some much needed good news on Monday: Derrick Rose’s MRI came back with no new news. Now you can really take that two ways as yes it’s good news nothing else is wrong, but his ankle is still sprained nonetheless. This comes after Rose sprained it driving to the basket in the first quarter of Saturday’s loss in Indianapolis. He is expecting to play Tuesday despite some soreness in his ankle. NBDL Finals: Game 1 Recap: Iowa Energy vs. Rio Grande Valley Vipers

The Iowa Energy fought their way to a 123-106 win over the Rio Grande Valley Vipers in Game One of the NBDL Finals. The Energy were led by Curtis Stinson who finished with 29 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists. The Energy fell behind in the first half but exploded in the third quarter, scoring 29 points and holding the Vipers to only 9. Rose, Noah, Bulls Make No Excuses About Loss

INDIANAPOLIS — The talk for the next two days in Chicago about the Bulls will be about how they finally buckled and fumbled a game away to the Pacers.
