The Comedy Stylings of Vinny Del Negro
Welcome to the first episode of “The Comedy Stylings of Vinny Del Negro”. In this episode, Vinny draws up an interesting way for the Bulls to win.
Chicago Bulls Weekly Roundup
(1-2) L 98-102 Most embarrassing loss ever for the Bulls? An argument can be made. After carrying a 35-point lead at the 8:50 point in the 3rd quarter, the Bulls completely unraveled. They could not find an answer for Tyreke Evans and the Kings. Deng and Rose had decent games with 26 and 24 points respectively, but its hard to find any positives in a collapse like this.
Chicago Bulls Will Fire Vinny Del Negro
Just when you thought this situation couldn’t get any worse. Chicago Bulls head coach Vinny Del Negro is already fired according to a report from ESPN’s Chris Broussard, but because the Bulls have been unable to decide on a replacement they are keeping Del Negro on as the head coach.
Losin’ Ain’t Easy: Bulls Blow 35-Point Lead
The Bulls pulled off quite a feat last night. They somehow were able to make a 35-point, 3rd quarter lead disappear. That’s simply amazing. I’m not sure if many rec teams would be able to accomplish such a feat. The Bulls scored 67 first-half points and led by 24 at the half. But some porous defense and a sickly 10 4th quarter points let the Kings comeback and win the game. The Kings were without Kevin Martin and playing at the United Center. So now the Bulls have lost to the Nets, a team that was 0-12 on the road [...]
Chicago Bulls Weekly Roundup
(2-1) L 87-96 The Bulls were actually leading in this one going into the 4th quarter. Although they eventually lost (Kobe is tough to stop), they finally showed some toughness and didn’t just give up after the first 8 minutes of the game. Noah had another great night posting 20 rebounds, of which 14 were offensive. Deng and Rose each had 21. W 98-89 The Knicks set the record for most 3-point attempts in a half with 29 in the 1st. Unfortunately for them they didn’t make too many of them. Although the Bulls got down 17 early, they hung [...]
Derrick Rose: New Commercial With Kevin Garnett
Maybe DRose is just not a fan of talking with the media. Or maybe they ask really dumb questions. Whatever, he’s engaging and slick –just like his shoes–in this new commercial with Kevin Garnett. Check out this pic first:
Vinny Del Negro Fights For Job as Bulls Beat Knicks
Vinny Del Negro really wanted to beat the Knicks on Thursday night. Why do I say that? Because he played just 7 Bulls in the 98-89 win over ex-Bulls Eddy Curry, Chris Duhon and their awful team. James Johnson was a DNP-CD. He can play against the Celtics and the Lakers but not the lowly Knicks? It all points to Del Negro feeling the heat. He got his win. Maybe a loss to the Knicks at home would have been the end of the Vinny era. We’ll have to wait for that. To the notable… Eddy Curry came home but [...]
Shannon Brown’s Fast Break Jam
Shannon Brown nearly jumps out of the gym on this fast break jam against the Bulls at the United Center. Vinny called a TO right after, but that was the beginning of the end for the Bulls on Tuesday night. //
Bulls Get a Victory, But It’s Just Moral
Hooray Bulls. They kept pace with the Lakers for 3 quarters on Tuesday night at the United Center. But just like the Jordan Bulls, Kobe and his Lakers flipped the switch in the 4th quarter and beat the Bulls by 9, 96-87. Other Notable Performances: Joakim Noah had 11 points, 20 boards and 6 blocks, but shot just 4-16. Ron Artest did his best Larry Hughes, going 3-14 and 1-7 from 3-pont range Brad Miller filled up the stat sheet with 15 points, 8 boards, 6 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks John Salmons and Jannero Pargo combined for 1-9 [...]
