Players who could be moved in a Lonzo Ball trade with the Chicago Bulls: Tomas Satoransky

There are two other Bulls players that are the lone veterans that might get moved in this discussed three-team trade with the Hornets and Pelicans. While there is at least a slight possibility that the Bulls move big man Daniel Theis to the Hornets if the interest is there, it seems like Markkanen and combo guard Tomas Satoransky would be more likely to go to Buzz City.

One other veteran that is potentially worth watching as this three-team trade discussion develops early this week is veteran forward Thaddeus Young. The Bulls would either have to move the partially guaranteed contract of Young or Sato to make room on the cap sheet to sign Lonzo if this trade happens this week.

Sato has the more team-friendly of the two contracts that are each in the final year heading into next season. Young could also be a better fit with a team that needs that added veteran presence on a playoff contending roster to help get them over the hump. That likely wouldn’t be the situation that Young would land in if the Pelicans or Hornets picked him up this offseason.

Sato could be someone that lands with either the Hornets or Pelicans. While the Hornets don’t need a whole lot of guard help, Sato could be the finishing touch to be a versatile fit behind the likes of Rozier and LaMelo. The Hornets do have an additional spot to fill in the backcourt unit that could be occupied by Sato if Malik Monk signs elsewhere this offseason.
