1) Chicago Bulls draft targets to trade for: Isaac Okoro
The aforementioned possibility of the Bulls trading down in the first round to be in a spot where they could both land the best player left on the board and fill a positional need is also something that could be accomplished with this next wing on the list. Former Auburn Tigers standout freshman small forward Isaac Okoro is one of the top wing prospects in this draft class.
This 6-foot-6 and 225 pound former five-star recruit and Powder Springs, GA, native is a wing that has one of the higher floors and higher ceilings in this draft class. There are definitely aspects of Okoro’s game that need work, but his two-way ability is unquestioned. Just improve his outside shooting, occasional poor decision making on offense and in transition, and hit the offensive glass harder, and you’ll get a wing in Okoro that will be a quality starter for a long time.
Okoro played in 28 games during his freshman campaign with Auburn (all of which he started in). He averaged 12.9 points per game, 4.4 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 2.0 turnovers, 0.9 steals, and 0.9 blocks. Okoro shot 51.4 percent from the field, 28.6 percent from beyond the arc, and 67.2 percent from the free-throw line.
The points that Okoro could show a bit better effort rebounding the ball, and needs to progress with his shooting from three-point range and the free-throw line are highlighting in those basic per game stats. But his great on-ball defense, gifted physical tools, and versatile offensive arsenal from within the two-point arc are solidified strengths for Okoro.
