3) Chicago Bulls trades with Nets for LaVine:

If the Bulls feel like they can add to this rebuild while stacking future draft capital in the process, then trading LaVine might not be the worst move. The Bulls hired former Denver Nuggets general manager Arturas Karnisovas to replace John Paxson as the lead voice in the front office. The official title for Karnisovas with the Bulls organization will be executive vice president of basketball operations.

And then Karnisovas hired former Philadelphia 76ers senior VP of player personnel Marc Eversley to replace Gar Forman as the Bulls next general manager.

The main goal at hand for Karnisovas and Eversley has to be finding what the right move for the roster construction and coaching staff will be to take the next step forward heading into the fourth year of the rebuild.

With that, the Bulls can form a pretty good trade partner with the Nets to get LaVine sent off to Brooklyn. If the Nets are willing to part ways with their 2020 first round draft pick (19th overall), then some traction could be made here. The Bulls also get two future second round draft picks out of the Nets in this hypothetical trade package.

In terms of players in this trade deal, the Bulls do get standout shooting guard Caris LeVert and center Jarrett Allen back from the Nets. Those are two really solid pieces that could be potential starters, and add depth to this rotation. The Bulls also get to get off the contract of overpaid big man Cristiano Felicio.
