1. Jared Dudley, Forward
The current Los Angeles Lakers 6-foot-6 and 235 pound shooting guard/forward Jared Dudley doesn’t have a huge role alongside the superstar combination of forward LeBron James and big man Anthony Davis. But Dudley has seen his fair share of interesting stops since his career started way back during the 2007-08 season.
It is impressive in and of itself that Dudley has stuck around for as long as he has in the NBA. He’s now played for seven different NBA teams, with most of his seasons coming with the Phoenix Suns. He’s also played for the likes of the Charlotte Bobcats, Washington Wizards, Milwaukee Bucks, Los Angeles Clippers, etc.
Dudley was the seventh overall pick of the Bobcats in the 2007 NBA Draft, out of the Boston College Eagles basketball program. He’s averaged 7.4 points per game, 1.2 rebounds, 0.6 assists, 0.8 steals, and 0.2 blocks, in nearly 900 regular season games played.
Butler has faced Dudley 26 times in his career between the regular season and the playoffs combined. He does hold the edge with a record of 16-10. And Butler averaged 22.1 points per game, 5.3 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 2.4 steals, and 0.8 blocks, in the playoffs against Dudley when it counted most. Meanwhile, Dudley averaged 5.2 points per game, 1.3 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.5 steals, and 0.3 blocks.
