Here we have finally arrived at where the Chicago Bulls value with their second round pick in the 2019 NBA Draft compares with the rest of the field. Gafford is averaging 4.8 points per game, 2.4 rebounds, and 0.4 assists, while shooting 67.7 percent from the field That goes along with a 17.9 player efficiency rating and 1.5 win shares.

Give GarPax props on this one since they take a lot of criticism elsewhere for their efforts in the third year of this rebuild. Granted a lot of the criticism is fair since this Bulls rebuild doesn’t look to be going very far.

Finding a second round pick that can make an immediate impact like Gafford is in his rookie season with the Bulls is very rare. Hopefully he can return soon from the dislocated and lacerated thumb injury he suffered last week in an eventual win over the Washington Wizards.

A recent slip in the production of the Warriors breakout rookie and former Villanova Wildcats star forward Eric Paschall was to be expected at some point this season. Paschall was electric and actually a dark horse to win the Rookie of the Year honors with his play early in the 2019-20 regular season.

Paschall is the leader among the 2019 second round draft picks in points per game (13.8), rebounds (1.7), and win shares (1.6). He’s also averaging 1.7 assists per game while shooting 49.5 percent from the field and 31.0 percent from three-point range. Improve his offensive arsenal and outside shooting and Paschall could be a force to be reckoned with for a long time in the NBA.
