Chicago went out and got their point guard of the future for the second time in three years, this time drafting Coby White out of North Carolina. White shined in Summer League and hopes to crack the starting lineup, but so does free-agent acquisition Tomas Santoransky from the Washington Wizards. Both players will fight for Kris Dunn‘s starting spot as he is hanging on by a thread.

Deciding which of the three is worth having in fantasy is tough since Head Coach Jim Boylen hasn’t come out with who’s starting. Here’s what you need to know if you want White, Sato, or Dunn.

Coby White

2018 college stats: 16.1 PPG, 4.1 AST, 3.5 RPG

Players Rankings and Average Draft Positions

Position(s): PG

Overall Rank: 169th (Yahoo), 191st (ESPN)

Point Guard Rank: 44th (ESPN), 51st (Yahoo)

Average Draft Pick: 138th (ESPN), 138th (Yahoo)

Coby White balled out at North Carolina breaking ACC Freshman records and leading the Tar Heels to another March Madness run before being selected seventh overall in the NBA Draft. White shot 232 three-pointers making 82 (35.3 percent). Otto Porter Jr. shot 256 in 56 games last season to give you an idea of White’s range and game. He is going to start at some point in the season and valuing him in fantasy is tough, but he has the same ADP as Dunn so he’s not valued very high. If you’re in a keeper league, White should be an option late.
