I’ve pitched this trade before for the Chicago Bulls and it should be one worth consideration. Since GarPax doesn’t have much steam on the trade market right now in shopping around the defensively talented point guard Kris Dunn, they could look in the direction of a team that needs help on that end of the floor.

Dunn could get to try his hand in a completely new place and make a return to the Western Conference. The Oklahoma City Thunder are a rebuilding team and Dunn could fit into what might be the perfect situation and role for him learning under veteran star Chris Paul and the rising star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

In return for sending Dunn to Oklahoma City, the Bulls will bring the reigning NBA Slam Dunk Contest winner and shooting guard Hamidou Diallo. The Bulls would have quite the lineup of standout dunkers at the two. Diallo could develop his game more around the influence of rising star shooting guard Zach LaVine.

A one-for-one player deal that involves sending two players to completely different places with different goals in mind could work out in favor of both the Bulls and Thunder. Diallo is promising, but needs to work on his offensive arsenal outside of within three or six feet from the rim.
