2. Finally trade Kris Dunn
The idea of the Chicago Bulls moving fourth-year point guard Kris Dunn via the trade market was commonly discussed all throughout the summer. I’d have to imagine that John Paxson and Gar Forman are still shopping Dunn around with any opportunity that presents itself.
But Dunn isn’t hanging onto much trade value at this point since GarPax didn’t do very well to market him as a valuable option to other teams around the NBA. Even as of two weeks ago, the trade rumors (thanks to Darnell Mayberry of The Athletic) were seemingly still swirling around at full strength.
However, all it takes is one suitor that finds value in the young and potent Dunn if he finds himself at the right destination. We’ll see once the Bulls start to work themselves back into the media spotlight more and are more open to talking how they feel about the stability of Dunn in the Windy City.
All in all, the Bulls just need to add one quality wing that a team will make available on the trade block ahead of the upcoming regular season to fill this gap at the position. An option like the Memphis Grizzlies present earlier in the summer with former Bull Justin Holiday could be good moving forward.
