Now, we hit the real prized free agency targets for 2021 for not just the Chicago Bulls, but all 30 NBA teams. Barring the Los Angeles Lakers letting the former New Orleans Pelicans superstar big man Anthony Davis walk in either 2020 or 2021 in free agency, there will be two top starts that all teams will be chasing in 2021.

The first ultimate prize up for discussion for the Bulls in 2021 will be the reigning NBA Champion coming off his one season with the Toronto Raptors, superstar forward Kawhi Leonard. Earlier this summer, Kawhi landed with another top 2021 free agent on this list with the Clippers, alongside PG.

Kawhi is a forward that the Bulls could bring into the mix and contend for an NBA Title right away. The Raptors showed that any team can do that when they took the risk on bringing him in with a trade involving the San Antonio Spurs that shipped star shooting guard DeMar DeRozan out.

Entering the summer of 2021, Kawhi will be 30-years-old and will have a player option with the Clippers that would either allow him to hit the free agent market or pick it up and get paid around $36 million for the 2021-22 season. If it all hits the fan with PG and the Clippers in the next two seasons, the Bulls should do whatever possible to impress Kawhi.
