Career Highlights: Ronnie Brewer is one of many veterans on the Bulls who have bounced around but haven’t hit major success until arriving in Chicago. Brewer spent his college days at Arkansas where he averaged 18.4 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 2.6 steals, and 0.5 blocks in his one year at the school.
He entered the 2006 NBA Draft where the Utah Jazz selected him 14th overall. Brewer was limited in his rookie year with Utah playing in just 56 games, but he put together strong performances and won the starting job as the shooting guard for the Jazz.
Brewer was traded to the Memphis Grizzlies during the 2009-10 season where he saw his minutes vanish due to injury and the Grizzlies failed playoff run. Brewer signed as a free agent with the Bulls that following offseason and made an impact right away. Brewer only started one game that season but he played in all but one game to counter.
Brewer began starting on a regular basis in 2011-12 when Richard Hamilton went down with a groin injury. His numbers with the Bulls in his first year were some of the best of his career.
