Well Pippen Peoples, you make the call. Why was Derrick Rose out against the Dominican Republic? Knee soreness or physical fatigue? Either way if I were you, I would be concerned. VERY concerned
“He’s back, he’s better than ever. He’s got all his explosiveness back. Bulls are going to win the championship!”
Woah! It’s all I have heard out of Team USA camp, since Derrick Rose has amazed every coach in the camp. I have been a slightly skeptical about “The Return 2.0″ since the beginning. I could pretend to be an insider and so could you but I am not at the Team USA practices. I haven’t spoken to the Team USA coaches about Derrick Rose. Reporters have been, but that doesn’t mean that I have to believe everything that they say and I haven’t seen quite enough to anoint that Derrick Rose is back just yet. All the NBA fans have seen is two exhibition games and some highlights from Team USA camp on Instagram from the NBA account. Is that enough for us to buy in?
However Wednesday, Bulls fans had a moment of panic, when their former-MVP Derrick Rose admitted to having knee soreness and this would require him to miss the exhibition game against Dominican Republic. Should we be worried as Bulls fans? This makes me worry about Derrick Rose because it makes me think, that he isn’t going to even play 60-games this year. However, that may be necessary for the Bulls to make a deep playoff run this season. Could this affect team chemistry? Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau talked to NBA-TV and claimed that the soreness is “normal” soreness.
Bulls Reporter, Sam Smith isn’t worried about Derrick Rose’s Knees. In fact, he even joked about it.
Should we be worried about Rose’s knees? Right now, we have to be patient, but I have a couple of questions about this situation. How many times is this knee soreness going to occur? I know a lot of people who have torn their ACL’s and they hurt everyday. I realize that those people aren’t in as good of shape as Derrick Rose but surprisingly I’m not a doctor.
Is the soreness going to trigger some doubt in his game? We’ve probably all been through this at some point. Ever tweak your ankle and kind of favor that ankle for the rest of the game? This isn’t an ankle this is a knee and this and it’s a much worse pain. Is he going to be able to manage this soreness? Or is he not going to give it 100% because he is worried about reoccurring pain?
That’s all we have Pippen Peoples! A whole lot of questions, with no answers. Are you personally worried about Derrick Rose?
