A no brainer right? Definitely according to Bulls fans and coach Tom Thibodeau. Thursday evening, Joakim became the 11th multiple All-Star in Bulls’ history when he was announced as a reserve for the 2014 All-Star team.
After the loss of Derrick Rose and Luol Deng, many closed the book on what was to be a championship run type of season for the Chicago Bulls but Jo stepped in as leader and facilitator within the team and it’s fair to say the Bulls’ are exceeding expectations because of him. His latest effort included playing 39+ minutes and a double-double along with eight assists and four blocks after missing a game with “flu like symptoms”.
According to CSNChicago.com, Jo was humbled to learn he was once again an All-Star. He spoke to reporters Thursday evening and had this to say:
I’m just happy, man. I’m really happy,” Noah said of his reaction. “I’m not going to take any of these experiences for granted. I feel so blessed and really thankful.”
See our boy Jo represent Chicago on Sunday, Feb 16th 7:00 pm CT airing on TNT!
Congratulations Joakim Noah!
