It’s no secret that the President of the United States, Barack Obama is a die-hard Chicago Bulls fan. Remember when the start of the 2013-2014 NBA season kicked off when the president famously tweeted:

Yes, that’s when the much anticipated return of Derrick Rose was in full swing and everyone was watching. The Bulls did end up loosing to the Miami Heat on the opening night (oh yeah this topic is about the Heat). So the Heat recently visited the White House on their annual trip after becoming NBA Champions once again (sigh…) and the President made it clear who his favorite team is:

Outstanding athletes, outstanding organization, outstanding team, but also outstanding members of their community,” Obama said of the two-time defending champs. “We’re very proud to have them back. We wish them great luck for the rest of the season…unless they’re playing the Bulls.

Well said Mr. President. I’m sure Obama would much prefer (along with myself and the long-enduring fans) that the Bulls pay him a visit. Hopefully this “retooling” business that the Bulls general manager Gar Foreman has going works out to fill this team’s future with White House visits and championship rings.

Bulls, the ball is in your court…
