The fact of the matter is the Chicago Bulls just haven’t been playing a consistent flow of basketball all season. Of course when you bring up inconsistency we have to to point to injuries (that has been a huge problem). Derrick Rose (torn medial meniscus, out indefinitely, with a small chance at the playoffs according to him. Your probably thinking here we go again, right? Well this time it just may happen!) Jimmy Butler (turf toe sprain, that’s still lingering) Kirk Hinrich ( back spasms) Luol Deng (Achilles) Joakim Noah (groin/hip). By the way I practically just went over the entire Bulls team! Except for Carlos Boozer who hasn’t been injured to our knowledge but is sure playing like it!
It’s no doubt that it’s been an injury filled season for the Bulls, but at the same time the team has never made that and excuse (more respect for that!). In Saturday’s blowout 105-83 loss to the Dallas Mavericks at home, it’s clear that this Bulls team needs to get started early of in games so they won’t have to hustle for a comeback. Despite Noah’s solid performance, his team still came out with a loss and was no cause for celebration:
We’ve just got to move on. That’s not what makes anybody in this locker room happy,” Noah said of his own 20-point, 10-rebound night. “We just want to win basketball games. We put ourselves in a hole. We’ve got to play with an edge every night and we will.
We didn’t play well. We’ve got to be sharper.

That’s the bottom line! No matter what string of injuries that has occurred on this Bulls roster this season, they have got to come out and play with energy and effort every single game. It’s a huge difference and game changer when they put play hard and dominate basketball. Whenever this Bulls team plays solid defense their offense follows and the game therefore becomes easier for them. It has surely been a tough season without a doubt, but the fight has got to continue on! It’s not over yet.
