Rose still among leaders in all-star voting, shows fans support

Even though Chicago Bulls MVP point guard Derrick Rose has not played in an NBA game since Nov. 22 due to a torn right medial meniscus, it doesn’t mean his fans are gonna stop voting for him. When the latest NBA All-Star ballot box returned, it showed that the support from Rose’s fans doesn’t stop as his latest injury setback has kept him out of action.

According to CSN Chicago, Rose still was ranked 3rd amongst backcourt guards in the Eastern Conference with 299,950 votes. That’s quite a lot off votes for a player who is “expected” to miss the rest of this season for the Bulls. Take that Dan Bernstein!! So far Rose is obviously winning!!! Not everyone seems to agree with Bernstein’s cowardly attacks on Rose. This proves once again that Rose’s popularity hasn’t suffered among his fans since going down with another heartbreaking injury. With landing in 3rd place for highest selling NBA jerseys, and now still bringing in a considerable amount of votes for all-star, it’s clear that the fans truly miss Rose back on the court. After all, do we really think Rose wants to be injured?! Some people sure do make it sound that way!

Rose – 2

Bernstein – 0

Looks like Bernstein should quit while he’s ahead!
