Another looming injury for the Chicago Bulls!! Just when you think we’ll get everyone back, there goes another one! This time the X is on Bulls center Joakim Noah who missed Friday’s practice due to a hip injury. Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau didn’t seem to be too concerned with how serious Noah’s injury was, stating:
Just had some tightness in his hip, so we’ll see where he is tomorrow,” the coach explained. “He’s not quite sure when he did it. Just felt some tightness, so it was an opportunity to give him another day of rest.
It doesn’t sound to be an injury that’s too serious, but it’s still something to note as it did keep Noah out of practice, or as Thibodeau called it “another day of rest”.
On the recovery train, Bulls all-star Luol Deng improving after missing the last 4 games with a left achilles injury that has been bothering him. Coach Thibs left some room for a possible return against the Mavericks Saturday night:
He shot yesterday, he felt OK and he did about three-quarters of practice today,” Thibodeau said. “He said he felt decent, so we’ll see where he is tomorrow.
We’ll have to see if Noah and Deg suit up for the Bulls when they take on the Dallas Mavericks Saturday night at the United Center 8 P.M ET.
