Chicago Bulls fans we’ve got an early present here! Jimmy Butler (right ankle) and Kirk Hinrich (back stiffness) are expected to play on Christmas when they take on the Brooklyn Nets at the Barclays Center. After missing the past five games it’s nice to hear that captain Hinrich will be back in action and has been doing what he can to get better:
It was spasms,” he said. “Just wear and tear spasms. I’ve been seeing a chiropractor a lot, doing everything I can to try and get it to get lined up and get everything loosened up where I can move and play. I was hoping it wasn’t going to take this long but I’m happy that it is finally better.

As for Butler it looks like he’s ready for some christmas day action! And that’s just what the fans needed to hear!

Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau was happy for the good news of Butler and Hinrich making their way back on the court:
It’s good because they were able to practice and they’re feeling a lot better, and I want to see how they’re feeling [Tuesday]. But both of them, they did everything, they did the contact, so it’s good.
Luol Deng who didn’t practice with his Bulls team on Tuesday is not quite there yet as he battles an achilles injury:
Just another day,” Thibodeau said. “We’ll see where he is, if he’s any better [Tuesday]. He’s improving but still not comfortable enough.
