You know when the Chicago Bulls start to miss makable shots in the paint, something is definitely wrong! In their home game against the Orlando Magics, the Bulls missed 22 of 34 shots in the painted area including potential game-winning layup. Something needs to be done, because we know the Bulls for being the team to go hard in the paint! Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau was quick to tackle the shooting problems his team has been facing:
We got some extra work on shooting today,” Thibodeau said. “We did work on our layups. Hopefully, that will be better. We shot a very low percentage in the restricted area. That’s something we have to improve.
“It’s probably a combination of things. Obviously, we can finish stronger. I think people are collapsing right now because we’ve got to make perimeter shots. That will improve the spacing. You have to knock some shots down. We have to be able to make some 3s. If we do that, that will open things up.

Much needed indeed Thibs! The Bulls have been loosing very close and winnable games due to lack of getting stops down the stretch and a constant flow of offense. And why not throw in solid defense in there, especially down the stretch (Bulls need their mojo back on this one)! If this team can get all these things under control, they’ll be back in the Eastern Conference top 5 and get over the .500 mark.
When you go back through the games, these are one-possession games; [they're] very winnable,” Thibodeau said. “We got to keep grinding, respond to the challenge, pick ourselves up.
