Right before the Chicago Bulls‘ 78-74 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks, Hall of Famer and Bulls legend Scottie Pippen jokingly considered suiting up for the game due to all the unfortunate injuries Chicago has been experiencing according to Nick Friedell.
Scottie Pippen walked through the Bulls locker room before the game and joked that he was going to suit up. The Bulls could use him.

The way this NBA season has gone so far for the Bulls, right now inserting Pippen into the lineup isn’t such a bad thought. No seriously! I know he was joking when he said that, but the Bulls’ list of injured players who didn’t play in the Milwaukee game according to ESPN Chicago, is stacking up and we could use anybody that can at least get the ball in the hoop! Yep, it’s gotten that bad. Care for an enlightenment? Let’s see where do I start; the heartbreak of the season in which Derrick Rose went down with a torn medial meniscus (this time it should be an easier recovery, thank God it wasn’t worse) Jimmy Butler went down with a turf toe sprain (he should be returning soon), Luol Deng (Achilles), Joakim Noah has a Knee contusion ( I knew he was battling something through the last couple of games.), and Mike James suffering from a knee injury and did not play in the game vs. the Bucks. (takes a deep breath, and hangs head) Have you ever heard of so many injuries on one team before?!
On the bright side, (yes there is one) according to Yahoo Sports the Bulls are the “frontrunners” to sign D.J. Augustin, who was waived from the Toronto Raptors. He will clear waivers on Wednesday at 5 p.m. ET to become a free agent. This is just what the Bulls need to help add depth at their point guard position after losing Rose. Let’s hope this deal comes through because Chicago surely needs more active bodies to add to the lineup!
