Jimmy Butler has been out of the Chicago Bulls lineup since Nov.18, and it looks like he is on his way to a soon return.
Although he didn’t practice with his team on Friday, before Saturday night’s 92-75 loss to the Detroit Pistons, he has been doing some running and has been participating in shooting drills. According to Doug Padilla of ESPNChicago.com, Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau has backed off the week-to-week status of when Butler will be coming back:
I don’t know if it’ll be a full week, but he’s got to practice,” Thibodeau said. “I don’t know if he’ll practice yet.
Let’s cross our fingers and hope that Butler does decide to practice with his Bulls team, so that he can get back on that court as soon as possible! We need his defensive presence as well as his long-range shooting ability.
