After coming of a huge statement game against the Indiana Pacers on Saturday night, the Chicago Bulls should have no problem with taking care of the Charlotte Bobcats. The entire team Shot 50% from the field and 57% from three point land in their Saturday night 110-94 win, the Bulls have unlocked the full potential of what harm their team can cause in the race to the NBA title. Currently undefeated at home with a 4-0 streak, Chicago looks to protect their home floor tonight at the United Center.
Just because they came off an impressive win, doesn’t mean the Bulls need to put their gears in cruise control. Every game they must put forth the same effort, play with toughness, and give no team breathing room. Derrick Rose, in his game against the Pacers looked like he was well on his way to returning to his MVP form. Shooting 6 three pointers and looking sharper on defense Rose scored 20 points, in what was his best performance of the season so far. Rose is expected to play tonight against the Bobcats according to ESPN Chicago, Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau stated:
“He feels pretty good and we’ll see where he is [Monday night],” Thibodeau said.
Things are looking up for the Bulls; they’re finally looking like a team contending for an NBA title this season. We’ll see if they can keep the momentum going as they try to go for 5 wins in a row when they host the Charlotte Bobcats in their house at 7:00 p.m. central.
