Thibodeau counts Derrick Rose out to play vs. Raptors, Rose confident

This is probably not the news Chicago Bulls fans want to hear, being that every game matters after such a slow start. It looks like Derrick Rose will not be in action against the Toronto Raptors tonight. Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau stated this morning according to ESPN:

He’s a little better,” Thibodeau said. “But we’re going to hold him out of practice this morning. We’ll see where he is. It’s unlikely [he'll play]

Rose on the other hand seemed confident and wanted to feel it out before counting out his chances of playing vs. the Raptors, he stated:

For me, I didn’t go out there and shoot yet,” Rose said. “[I'll] go out there and see how it feels, and if it feels good enough to play, I’m going to play.

They’re still leaving it up to me to go out there,” Rose said. “See how [it] goes, and if it’s any tightness or soreness there’s no point to go out there and play. But if I go out there and it loosens up, I think I’ll be playing.

So far it seems unclear if Rose will play, looks like we’ll have to wait until the Chicago Bulls (3-3) face the Toronto Raptors (4-5) tonight on the road, hoping  to win their 3rd game in row.
