Joakim Noah says he is ’100 percent’ playing against Miami Heat

One of the more concerning aspects of the Chicago Bulls’ undefeated preseason was Joakim Noah’s groin injury, which caused him to miss seven of the Bulls’ eight games. There was a lot to like otherwise, but it was hard to shake the feeling that Noah’s injury would cause problems, especially with the Bulls’ suspect frontcourt depth.

However, Noah came out and said today that he definitely will play on Tuesday, and that he’s been good to go for a while.

So that settles that. In other news, Kirk Hinrich might play as well, but he doesn’t seem as confident as Noah.

Regardless, we’re only two days away from the start of the regular season and it can’t come soon enough.

Go Bulls!

Noah has proven (first round of the playoffs against the Nets) that he only needs to be 75% healthy to be effective. If he beasted Brook Lopez, I am confident he can dominate whoever the Heat have at center.
