After both Joakim Noah and Derrick Rose were held out of Saturday’s game in Rio de Janiero, it wouldn’t have been wrong to start feeling worried, as a Chicago Bulls fan. However, a mere two days later, Tom Thibodeau says he expects both players to be in the starting lineup on Wednesday, when the Bulls take on the Detroit Pistons.
Thibodeau said DRose and Noah practiced fully. At this point, expects them to play Wednesday.

While Rose’s situation never seemed all that dire, it is very nice to know that he practiced and is apparently feeling fine. As for Noah, we knew he would miss a few games to start the preseason, but apparently he’s fine now.
If you’re keeping track, by the way, this would mark the first time the Bulls projected starting five (Rose, Jimmy Butler, Luol Deng, Carlos Boozer and Noah) has ever shared the court together, for whatever that’s worth.
15 days until opening night, folks.
