Kirk Hinrich, Taj Gibson, Derrick Rose, all out as Chicago Bulls take on Golden State Warriors

The Chicago Bulls will again be without a quarter of their roster as they take on the Golden State Warriors in Oakland. Taj Gibson, Kirk Hinrich and Derrick Rose will all watch from the sidelines, while Richard Hamilton has been away from the team for the last week or so.

As the title might suggest, those four players make up a good chunk of the Bulls’ roster, and it’s not clear when they’ll each be back. Rose could be back any time in the next two months and it wouldn’t surprise me. Gibson’s been out a little more two weeks and will hopefully return within the next two. Hinrich was trying to be ready tonight, but his foot “didn’t respond.”

God only knows what’s going on with Hamilton. We literally know nothing beyond that he had back spasms and is no longer traveling with the team. That’s it.

The Warriors have been struggling recently, but the Bulls have been wretched. Any time you lose by 42 points to the freaking Sacramento Kings, you know things are bad. I look forward to Nate Robinson, Marco Belinelli and Marquis Teague attempting to guard the Golden State trio of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Jarrett Jack. That should go well.

(Hint: it won’t go well.)
