NBA All-Star: Joke Of a Roster Includes No Bulls

There is a countdown banner on that is currently counting down the seconds until the Miami Heat play the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday night. However, as soon as that game is over, the banner can go right back up counting down to the Heat-Lakes again, only the NBA will mask it by saying it’s the All-Star Game.

The NBA All-Star votes are in and while Joakim Noah did pretty well in the voting, he’s only hope to get on this year’s team is by being a reserve. The votes are in and a total of two players that don’t play in either Los Angeles, Boston or Miami made the team and one of them plays for New York.

Besides Carmelo Anthony and Kevin Durant, the rest of All-Star teams on both sides are made up of Kobe Bryant, Dwight Howard, Blake Griffin, Chris Paul, Rajon Rondo, Kevin Garnett, LeBron James and Dwyane Wade.

The real loser besides Noah is Tyson Chandler, a former Bull. Chandler was without a doubt a victim of the new voting system that pools centers in with the whole front court. That’s the reason why you have three forwards playing in the East’s front court rather than having Chandler start over Kevin Garnett.

But for the Bulls, as usual, they got robbed. Noah finished 7th in frontcourt voting while Luol Deng finished 12th behind Noah. Chicago got zero votes for players in the backcourt while four players from Boston and Miami piled up votes.
