Key Matchup: Bulls vs. The Injury Bug

In recapping the regular season, the biggest headline would “Bulls Win Despite Derrick Rose” and by this I mean Rose’s injuries caused him to miss almost 45 percent of the season. In the playoffs every little flaw or weakness is magnified and Rose’s injuries will be at the top of the list. If he can stay healthy, the Bulls very much can make it to the NBA Finals. But this is the game he needs to establish himself. Jrue Holiday isn’t that great of a point guard and Rose can really get back into the groove of things in Game 1. The Bulls need him so it’s crucial to see how Rose does and where he’s at in his recovery.
