CHICAGO — It’s news Bulls fans didn’t think they’d have to hear again so soon: Derrick Rose sprained his ankle in Monday nights loss to the Hawks. The play that resulted in said injury occurred at the end of the game when Derrick Rose stepped on Jamal Crawford’s foot, turning his ankle. CHICAGO — It’s a bitter sweet moment for Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls but don’t mistake that for a bad thing. CHICAGO — All assertions that the Bulls were simply bitten by the jitter bug in their first series were violently dismissed by Joe Johnson and the Atlanta Hawks Monday. The Hawks used a blueprint drawn up by the Pacers to overcome the heavily favored Bulls in Game 1 by a score of 103-95.
