CHICAGO — The Bulls were unable to repeat their success from Game 1 and got clamped by the Heat in Game 2 being held to just 85 points and held Derrick Rose to just 21 points.

The big issues in Game 2 was the ineffectiveness of Rose down the stretch who couldn’t hit a shot to save his life it seemed and looked very un-Derrick Rose. Rose got beat up bad in the paint, an area where he usually dominates and closes games out. The Bulls were unable to close the game and were unable to out the heat on the Heat late.

“Playoff basketball is gonna challenge you.” said Rose who went just 7-23.

The Heat out-rebounded the Bulls 45-41, but it was LeBron James — cold and all– who was the deciding factor in the second game. James ignited for 29 points and ten huge rebounds to give his South Beach buddies the edge last night.

But the loss isn’t as discouraging to the Bulls as some are making it out to be. As I’ve said numerous times before, if anyone was under the impression this series was going to end in a sweep by either team was being very ignorant and stubborn.

But after Game 2, we at least know we have a series that will be amazing to watch.
