The Iowa Energy had a whole week off from play and came out strong Sunday afternoon and took the Erie BayHawks down 133-126. The game was close throughout, with both teams showing shooting around 50%. Iowa took advantage of the many BayHawk turnovers and scored 22 points on the break compared to Erie’s 2 points on the break.
The Energy were happy to have Othyus Jeffers back who was gone for 10 days with the San Antonio Spurs. But the BayHawks were missing leading scorer Garret Temple who signed a 10 day contract with the Charlotte Bobcats.
