Bulls Land Boozer, Wait on LeBron

Even if the Bulls don’t land LeBron James, they have an excellent consolation prize in power forward Carlos Boozer. The Bulls just got something they’ve needed for years, and something all teams need to succeed in the NBA playoffs: low-post scoring. He’s also a solid rebounder and well-rounded fundamentally. The Bulls just added a 20-10 player to their starting lineup. If LeBron decided to go play elsewhere, the Bulls have still made a significant upgrade. Here’s a nice mini-bio on Boozer. Vinny Del Negro Hired By Clippers

Vinny Del Negro needed little time to find a new gig as a head coach in the NBA. He will be hired as coach of the Los Angeles Clippers, according to the Tribune. Best part of the story of his hiring: “Del Negro, who had one year and $2.2 million remaining on his Bulls contract, was said to have impressed Clippers owner Donald Sterling during the interview process.
